Evaloc
Overview
Evaloc is a patented, non-toxic, bio-degradable water evaporation retardant developed by M/s AquaSavio (SP WaterEver LLP). Since 1983, Evaloc has been helping municipal corporations, industries, and farms across India conserve water by reducing evaporation from open water bodies by up to 35%. The technology uses organic, vegetarian-based materials that form an ultra-thin invisible film on the water surface, preventing water molecules from escaping into the atmosphere. Evaloc is OECD certified and EU compliant, rigorously tested for safety to humans, fish, animals, and plants. With over 150 successful projects and 17+ billion litres of water saved, Evaloc serves applications ranging from municipal reservoirs and industrial storage to farm ponds and large lakes.
